"Arm shields with nationality symbols and collar patches with political symbols of the foreign and non-German units of the Waffen-SS " Poor quality (unclear) copy of a line drawing from World War II showing a military map of Europe , USSR, etc. and SS unit emblems: Schematic map and internal pictorial overview of the SS ("For official use only") of the uniform sleeve badges and divisional collar tabs of all foreign units of the Waffen-SS. Publisher: SS Leadership Main Office ( SS-Führungshauptamt ), Berlin, Nazi Germany; February 1, 1945. See also the object as a printed map sized 54.6 x 68.6 cm in the collections of the German Historical Museum in Berlin here Note: The positioning of the SS divisions on the map and the emblems may contain inaccuracies. It is somewhat uncertain to what extent some of these emblems from the late war period were actually in use or were only intended (never issued). This content comes from historical documents and official works of the Third Reich and is therefore likely in the public domain. However, there may be restrictions on its use due to other legal provisions (such as the prohibition of Nazi symbols ).
